JUST ONE PATIENT’S TESTIMONIAL
I have for quite some period of time suffered, on and off, with both leg and back pain. This followed an accident I had in 1984 which resulted in a prolapsed lumbar disc L4/5 and subsequently an operation to remove the bulge to stop the pain in my leg. 4 months on from my 1st visit, my pain in my right leg is all but gone, I have a far more positive outlook, and difficult situations at work don’t get me as stressed as they once did. I have also lost a bit of weight thanks to the small changes to my diet that were suggested by the practice, all part of embracing the whole ideology.

WHY THIS COURSE?

One of the problems that George identifies is that often people who seek shiatsu have complex problems that, despite months and sometime years of effort, no one has been able to resolve. Shiatsu can often help these problems in the short term but then there are a number of patients that continually present with the same reoccurring issues. George Says 'the objective surely has to be to return these individuals to health and resolve these issues once and for all'. This course concentrates on this aspect of clinical practice, the strategies that need to be employed to reach a correct diagnoses and the appropriate treatment, be it shiatsu, moxa, cupping, diet advice or exercise. It offers the shiatsu student and practitioner a variety diagnostic tools and shiatsu approaches specifically targeted at specific ailments. George believes this will help change the course of the practitioner's shiatsu and maximize their unique potential through individual attention and coaching.

What do you connect with?

COURSE DETAILS

Shiatsu is a reflection of life. Life is a reflection of shiatsu.

To understand that fire energy is expanding and water energy some say is predominately at rest and floating, is fine in theory. However, how do you recognise the different types of energy when you find them in a body?'

This is a two-day course designed to help Shiatsu practitioners connect with the correct energy in the correct pathway and balance that energy in an appropriate way. See article on 'what do you connect with' about the subtle aspects of Ki energy the different and unique feels each has. This course is popular for those that want to develop there understanding of different types of Ki and to find the meridian pathways by using innate touch rather than relying on learnt pathway maps.

It helps with Kyo and Jitsu differentiation. It will teach you to listening rather than insisting with your body work, hara, back and channels. It will show you is successful ways to effect change, through identifying how and what to listen to and how and what to 'say' in response.
